Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 23, 2026 This Privacy Policy explains how SilverSignal ("Company") collects, uses, and shares your information through our Services. We follow GDPR rules for EU users. We handle two types of data: (1) personal information that identifies you (name, email, phone, address), and (2) non-personal information that doesn't (latency metrics, usage patterns in aggregate).
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Automatically collected data. Your browser type, operating system, ISP, IP address, session times, and where you came from all get logged when you access our platform. We may ask for your name, email, location, device identifiers, and geolocation data when you sign up, contact support, subscribe to alerts, or use authentication providers. Signal metrics, device specs, diagnostic logs, how you interact with the platform, and service usage data fall into non-personal information. Accessing the Services means you're consenting to this collection.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use your information to: — Keep the Services running, maintained, and improved; — Look at signal patterns and make filtering rules better; — Check response latency and how much miscommunication costs; — Handle your account and answer support questions; — Send you updates about the service and its status; — Meet legal requirements and enforce our agreements.
3. INFORMATION DISCLOSURE
Your information goes to: — Service providers who run our infrastructure (hosting, payments, monitoring); — Our affiliated companies for internal operations; — Law enforcement when they have a legal right to it or to stop fraud; — Third parties if we merge, get acquired, or sell assets. De-identified or aggregated metrics can be shared with anyone without limits.
4. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
We use cookies, web beacons, and tracking pixels to see how the platform works, track sessions, and keep things running. Third-party services on our platform may collect data under their own privacy rules. Your browser settings let you manage cookies, though some features won't work as well without them. Flash cookies need to be managed separately through Flash Player. Need details on third-party services? Email info@silversignal.pro.
5. ADVERTISING
Third-party partners use tracking tech to collect behavioral and location data for targeted ads. You can turn off mobile behavioral advertising in your device settings.
6. PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS
Other users can see your username and profile details. Anything you post in incident channels, message boards, or public profiles can be collected by others. We're not responsible for what you choose to share.
7. DO NOT TRACK
We don't respond to browser Do Not Track (DNT) signals because there's no standard everyone uses. Check allaboutdnt.com for more.
8. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS
California law lets you ask what personal information categories we shared with third parties for their marketing last year. Send requests (once per year) to info@silversignal.pro.
9. ACCESSING OR CHANGING YOUR INFORMATION
Contact us to see, fix, or remove your personal information, though we might have to keep some for legal reasons. There may be fees depending on what the law allows. Email info@silversignal.pro.
10. DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION
Your data lives in multiple places worldwide through third-party infrastructure. Using the Services means you accept your data being processed in countries with different privacy laws. We keep personal information until you ask us to delete it or until we don't need it anymore.
